Your 3 BIG Rocks...are they in your schedule ??? This week's BOLD LAW... " It's not about selling real estate, it's about following a schedule ! "
You know the story. Each day is an empty jar and we all have three big rocks to put in it .
Those three big rocks represent the three activities that generate most of our income and, they are not all the same size. Everything else, the smaller pebbles, stones, sand and water that go in the jar represent all the other " stuff ". All the distractions , interruptions , duties and " to - do lists " and " honey - do " lists , etc, etc., that fill our day.
If we put all the small stuff into the jar first, you CANNOT fit the big rocks in afterward...there is no room !
When you put the three big rocks in the empty jar FIRST, and then fill the jar with pebbles, you think the jar is full, right ? Nope, now you get to add sand to the jar. The sand will fill in all the spaces around the big rocks and the pebbles. The jar is full now , right ? Not yet....you can add water to all of that...the jar can take a lot more than you think....IF the ingredients are added in proper sequence !
Same thing with your schedule...Do the three big things first !!! Everything else ( except a true life emergency) can wait...all the little stuff can get added to your daily schedule AFTER the big rocks are in the jar. You know what your three big rocks are...Lead generation has to be first...Lead follow up is probably second and third is actually seeing people and going on appointments.
Without those, you won't be in business long. That's a harsh reality. Follow your daily schedule , fill your daily jar in the right order and you will be a resounding success !
It's NOT about selling more real estate...it's about following a predetermined schedule !
