There is a parable about a wise , old great Indian Chief who , one day, is walking out on the prairie with his great grandchild , and they are overlooking the village and talking about life. The young boy is about 6 years old .The Great Chief, who is wise beyond his years, tells a story to the young boy . He tells the young boy that we all live with two wolves inside ourselves all our lives...

Those wolves are constantly fighting with each other, one looking to dominate the other forever. They howl, scratch , bite and tear tufts of fur out of each other ....constantly...It is a battle to the finish..life or death...every hour of every day.... one of those wolves is named "  FEAR " and one of those wolves is named " FAITH ".

Once the boy gets the point of the story, he becomes alarmed and with wide eyes and deep concern , he asks his Great Chief , " Oh Great Grandfather , I am scared ! Which one gets bigger and stronger and wins ? "

The old man, bends down slowly and gets right to eye level of the young brave and says with a knowing look , " the one you feed"....
