Wednesday's BOLD LAW "Want = Lack" Ten questions to ask yourself.
Want = Lack
"I do not want to get to the end of my life and find that I just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well." - Diane Ackerman
Questions I ask myself.
Am I doing all I can to fill my life with relationships and experiences?
Am I filling each day with purposeful intentions?
Am I setting personal and professional goals?
Am I stretching myself to reach those goals?
Are they BIG enough to scare me or make me nervous?...even just a little?
Am I okay to lose sometimes when I go for a win?
Am I learning the lessons associated with both of those outcomes?
Am I personally growing, even just 1% a day?
I think that's better than sitting around, moping, whining, wishing & wanting things to get better. Jim Rohn said, "Don't wish for things to be better...wish YOU were better!" Do something about it! When we want, we are lacking and needy. It may mean we're just trying to make it to the end of the day...not very powerful, inspirational or fun to be around, right?
You can't be like that...not for a day, an hour, not even for a minute...don't even approach that slippery slope.
Want = lack
