Wednesday's BOLD LAW.... " Spontaneity is a conditioned reflex "
What productive habit would you like to have ?
What good habit do you currently have and would like to improve upon ?
What negative habit would you like to eliminate ?
We all have good and bad habits. Hopefully, our good habits far outweigh our bad ones ! It's been said that you never really eliminate a bad habit , rather it is buried by layering on a good habit so many times that we eventually replace it , or forget about it.
The more we practice a great habit perfectly , the more we begin to condition ourselves that this is the new me ! Perfect practice eventually trains our subconscious mind to react only one way and eventually , it becomes spontaneous.
Think about an Olympic gymnast or an X games aerial skier . How do they do all those insane jumps with multiple twists and spins and land safely ? Answer: lots of little habits built upon each other with thousands of hours of perfect practice. Repeated correctly over time , those habits become reflexive and spontaneous and their confidence and bravery grows.
We don't have to make a conscious effort to repeat what once may have been a task... it's just automatic. It becomes a spontaneous reflex.
And then , people begin to look at you and say , " How did they do THAT ? "...and won't that be cool ?
Spontaneity is a conditioned reflex !
