It is important to be the same person at home that you are at work. You must do your absolute best to be emotionally consistent at all times. I lose sight of this sometimes and need to be mindful of this every day. You can't be " Mr. Wonderful " at work and than be the grouchy Grinch when you get home because you're tired , aggravated or stressed out. That's a poor excuse and our families did not cause that and it's unfair to take a bad day out on them. If you did that with your clients, you'd be out of a job because of lousy performance !

When you look in the mirror, who is that person being today ? Who is that person becoming every day ? You are a magnet to others who want to be drawn to you because of your emotional stability, and the professional manner in which you conduct yourself. They see a calm, polite, thoughtful ,wise, introspective and fair person. They want to be like you because you bring value with your words, your thoughts and your actions. You are an inspiration to others because they want to execute like you.

Abraham Lincoln said , " Better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought of as being wise ,versus opening it up too quickly and proving otherwise ! "

How you participate in one area of your life is how you show up everywhere....be proud of your participation everywhere today !
