Tuesday's week's BOLD LAW "Your business grows to the extent that you do"....A thought from America's business philosopher Jim Rohn
For me, the most exciting people to be around are those people who are not standing still. I am not talking about those people who are busy, busy, busy and not really going anywhere. You know who I am talking about. Those people who are so caught up in trying to finish their "to - do" list that they leave no time for working on the 20% of their activities which can make them 80% of their income.
God bless them, they are working hard and frantically but , they are not focused on the right thing. By the way, we all know the "to -do" list never gets completely done. Because of that, their business never grows because they are so caught up in the " busy-ness " of their business. They are not growing because they have not made the time to work on themselves.
Work on the "Big Rocks" first, then go to your "to-do" list.
I like talking and hanging out with the visionaries and the big thinkers and the big Do-ers! They are busy as well and they have an energy and spirit about them which in turn, lifts me up to greater ideals and achievements. They share a great podcast they are listening to , or an awesome book that they are reading. They have found the time to invest in themselves and, in turn, their business grows and their life keeps getting even better.
"Work harder on yourself than you do on your job" - Jim Rohn
Tomorrow, a longer quoted paragraph from Jim Rohn on the concept of personal growth = business growth. Stay tuned.
