Thursday's BOLD LAW...Don't put others on a pedestal....." Don't compare your insides to someone else's outsides "
Don't compare your insides with other people's outsides !
When we compare, we will ALWAYS find somebody who is bigger, faster, stronger, richer, more handsome, prettier, blah blah blah...the list goes on and on. By placing others on a perceived pedestal , you always knock yourself down and that serves no purpose.
True confession...I used to do that a lot ! And, when I did that, without knowing it , I invariably placed myself above others who I did not think matched up to me and again, nobody wins in that deal ! Tim Wood helped me shed that thinking with the story I wrote about yesterday.
Now, instead of placing someone on a pedestal and being intimidated by them or in awe of them, be inspired by their success. Instead of saying , " I could never do that ! " , ask them questions and learn from them. You'll probably find that their attitude is , " Jeez , if I can do it , so can you ! Here's how ! "
That kind of possibility thinking opens up all kinds of doors to a better life. And, remember as you are reaching up with one hand to be pulled up by someone " above " you, remember to reach down with your other hand and pull someone else up who needs your assistance. That is a " Win-Win " for everyone !
Don't compare because there is no personal growth in that....ask questions of others...don't get too wrapped up in telling your story...listen and learn from their story instead and listen with two ears and one mouth....take action on their answers...that's going to help you grow instead of wasting your time and energy building false pedestals for others !
Hope this helps !
