Thursday's BOLD LAW... " It's not about selling real estate, it's about following a schedule ! "...Honestly, how well do you follow it ?
First, you need to have a schedule..
Second, you must have the desire and discipline to follow it
Remember, in interviews with successful people from all walks of life and all types of businesses , one recurring theme amongst them is this.....they all have a schedule and they follow it ! So, if CEO's who earn over $ 1,000,000 annually have a schedule, shouldn't we ?
You may say " Duh, why of course they have a schedule! They are CEOs of companies ! " I submit to you just the opposite. BECAUSE they HAD a schedule at one time and they MADE the decision to follow it, they eventually BECAME a CEO ! If it's good enough for them, should not that habit be good enough for us ?
You are the CEO of your business today. Maybe you are all by yourself and doing everything currently for , and by yourself. That's okay and admirable. We were all their once. And, you are busy. You need a schedule and you gotta follow it ! Having that discipline to do your " One Thing " or your 3 big rocks everyday will give you the ability to make your first hire...and then, you go and grow !
All the mentors and coaches I have ever had have these common thoughts when it comes to a schedule....You are going to be pulled off your schedule a hundred times a day . That is a given...The trick is , how good can you be at not allowing yourself to be interrupted by things that can wait ? How disciplined are you to stay on it ? And when you get yanked off of it , and you will, how quickly can you get back to it ? Most importantly , if you can stay on your schedule 80% of the time , you will win !!! Winning is fighting to stay on and honor your schedule that you put in place for your success !
It's not about selling real estate , it's about following your schedule!
