Emotionally, it is easier to be at the same level of participation everywhere you go in your day. If you are cool and calm somewhere but , act like a lunatic somewhere else, that is energy draining and embarrassing too !

It's just easier to stay on an even keel as best you can...no matter what ! People are drawn to others who are polite, calm, thoughtful and introspective.

Leaders who provide value with their thoughts , words and actions are eagerly sought out by others. That is the kind of inspirational leader that others want to be around !

I am reminded of Abraham Lincoln who once said, " Better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought of as smart , versus opening it up quickly and proving otherwise ".
