This week's BOLD LAW ... " Success is simple , not easy "
Success is simple.
It's taking your " One Thing " and doing it very well day after day.
It is NOT doing a million things daily , multi - tasking , checking off a master " to - do " list every day and spending most of your day working on the 80 % or the " little rocks " that don't matter ! Becoming a Jack of all trades and a Master of none & trying to be all things to all people is a recipe for frustration and burnout. There is no accomplishment in being the hamster on the wheel and no medals handed out for grinding it out.
Take a hard look at a successful person. They have great daily habits that they religiously do day after day. They intensely focus on the " One thing" that they are very good at and they delegate EVERYTHING else . They focus on doing the 20 % , the big rock , that earns them 80 % of their income , not the 80 % that earns them only 20 % of their income.
That focus and intention and those habits may seem boring to someone else. It's the compounding affect of consistency that matters. That's very hard to do over a long time but it is doable. You can copy it. It is very simple , but it ain't easy. And because it is not easy , most people won't do it !
As I learned from Tim Wood, " People will copy EVERYTHING ELSE you do , but they won't copy HARD work ! "
Success is simple , not easy. Start copying the habits of a successful person today.
