This week's BOLD LAW ....." How you participate here is how you participate everywhere "

Are you the same person at work as you are at home ? I know there have been times where I have allowed circumstances at home to get the better of me and I have not been my best self to my family. In other words , I would be embarrassed to let others outside of my family see me act that way. It probably happens to us all from time to time because we are all human.

And then , if you're anything like me on those days, once we get in our car , we do something to change our state because we know we can't act that way to our co-workers, staff or our clients. So, we put on our best professional game face and soldier through our day.

Then we inevitably must return home and repair what damage we might have caused when we had let our guard down earlier. Emotions up and down and in and out of control at home and yet, at work, cool, calm professional because you have to be. That's not great for anyone , your family or you included ! 

Work on being the same person at home as you are at work. Come from contribution and love and support. Hear others out before you say something you'll regret later and know that they are watching your reactions. Give the same courtesy to your family as you would give to your clients. Be the same person wherever you go and whomever you are with at the time because....

How you show up here is how you show up everywhere !

It's a new week and a new month starting today. Let them all see a new you too...all the time  !
