This week's BOLD LAW...." How you participate here is how you are participate everywhere "
To me, this BOLD LAW means, we should strive every day and at every moment to be consistent in who we are. How we act in one place , is probably how we act everywhere. If our day gets off to a bad start at home and you take that persona to work , you are not likely to have a great day. We attract what we are...we attract it because we are magnets...Consequently, if something less than positive happens at work and you bring that home, your personal night at home is not going to go well.
Despite what happens to us somewhere , we can't be one person there and a totally different person somewhere else. That's mentally exhausting and not fair to those around us. We must be on an even keel most of the time , or as Mike Ferry teaches , " Keep your emotions between the lines ! ", which happens to be a separate BOLD LAW ! Don't get too high or too low.
We are human. It is natural to feel and exhibit emotions ...just keep them under control. As Maureen , my wife , sometimes reminds me when I am not at my best at home she says , " What would your coach /clients/ friends /fellow Keller Williams agents / etc. say about you right now if they saw you acting this way ? " ...... OUCH ! We can't be one person in one place and another person in another place. Do your best today to be consistent !
How we participate here is how we participate everywhere...
