This week's BOLD LAW

Have you ever had something you know you needed to do and it took you all day to do it? I find that sometimes happens to me because I did not assign a scheduled time in the day to get it done and, because of a lack of focus or attention on it, it hung around all day and weighed heavily on me. Or worse, because I put it off all day, I ran out of time to get it done. I conveniently allowed myself to get interrupted with other things to do and procrastinated on it all day long. What a crock!

When I place a time to start on it and I give that task a time block on it, I accomplish it. In other words , treat it like an appointment with a starting time and an ending time. Because we then have a specified time on it, no interruptions or self sabotage occurs and it gets completed! Like another BOLD LAW, "If it's not in your schedule, it does not exist."

All work does expand to the time allowed. When we choose to be more efficient, we simply need to place a time limit on those items we KNOW we must get done...or they will take all day to do!
