Be. Do. Achieve.
At KW we talk a lot about the concept that, to achieve something you must do the proper things first. And in order to do those things, you must become the person (or type of person) to execute the actions.
For a moment, consider the intense seller’s market we are in.
To Achieve an offer being accepted, what does a buyer have to Do? How must you educate them so they do what is needed? Who must the buyers Be – or imagine themselves as Being - so that they can be assertive enough to get their offer accepted?
Our MAPS Coaches are hearing some wild stories about what it takes to get an offer accepted – and what buyers have to do. Since you understand the order of events is Be – Do – Achieve; what are you doing to get your buyers to Be the person who will Do what it takes to Achieve their new home?
I think we can agree that conservative offers are not winning the game in this market. It takes creative assertiveness to get a seller to say yes to your offer and no to the (dozens) of others, doesn’t it?
So… if we trust that buyers must Be before they Do and Achieve; who must YOU become to guide your buyers through the process more effectively?
What changes in your thinking will you make so that you feel better about taking new actions for your buyers?
And, if you really want to win the game, who must you become so that you are more in the driver’s seat … controlling the listings?
Be – Do – Achieve. It’s just the way it is. And if you don’t like it, consider Jim Rohn’s classic advice, “When you have your own planet, you can set it up differently!”
