Every morning , in a separate journal, I write down 5 things I am grateful for ...

It's a good start for me to do first thing when I wake up. This morning, I wrote that I am grateful for all the experiences , good and bad, that I have had for they have shaped me into the man that I am today. Hopefully, I am humble for the good things I've had and I have learned from the bad times as well. All those experiences have designed who I am today.

Today , I get to design my future. No way , do I choose to live a life by default because of past experiences. The past does NOT determine my future. I choose today to determine my future from lessons learned.

An old saying from Roman times is " Fortune favors the brave " . I can't give you the words in Latin because I struggled with Latin in High School ! "

Fortune features the brave " does not mean you have no fear. It means that despite the fear , you take the action anyway . The action taken determines the future.

Be courageous.

It takes courage to take the time to design your future

It takes courage to set BIG goals 

It takes courage to write them down, face your doubts and give them life

It takes courage to put yourself out there and tell others what you plan to do

It takes courage to be transparent and vulnerable

It takes courage to be a leader and inspire others 

It takes courage to design your life and not accept default

Be courageous today. Go seek your fortune, whatever that means to you , by being brave today. Do this now. Do it before Friday night at midnight.  2022 is waiting for you to tell it what YOU want. Be brave and go for it. Your future is waiting for you to design it now ! Make it a Happy New Year !
