An example of the power of emotion versus logic...

We've all heard about the little old lady who lifted a car off the trapped child . Where did she summon that strength ? If she had taken the time to sit down and logically think about the possibility of her doing that , the moment would have passed and the child would have died. That's logical.

Emotionally though , her " mothering " instincts took over and fueled by raging emotion and hyper adrenaline , she had the strength , just for a second or two , to move that weight to save the child !

Emotion turned her into " Wonder Woman  " ! I'll bet that you too have been in a frightening situation where emotion kicked in and you reacted in a very positive way. And, later on, when you began to logically think about it, you thought , " how the heck did I do that ? "

Emotion is a very powerful resource that we all have at any time. Make sure you use yours correctly because the life you save may be your own...
